Abstract
With increasing energy consumption in cities, more and more serious attention is being paid the reliability of power supply systems. One indicator of the reliability of power supply to consumers is the average line recovery time. This indicator is influenced by a large number of factors. One of such significant factors for cable lines is the time delay between the moment offinding the place of damage and the beginning ofrepair of cable lines. The delay in starting repair of cable lines causes a significant increase in the duration and, as a consequence, the cost of repair work in any season and in any, even favorable weather conditions. In this regard, when forecasting the cost of repairs, it is necessary to take into account the delay factor and make organizational efforts to reduce delays with the start of repair of cable lines.
