Abstract
Introduction. The article examines organizational and managerial mechanisms for the use of digital technologies to improve management in the civil aviation industry. Goal. The study aims to identify, systematize and define organizational and managerial mechanisms that ensure management improvement. It serves the basis to identify the key manageable parameters of digital transformation in the industry. Materials and methods. The study was carried out within the framework of the multiple case study methodology, which allows identifying both unique and recurring patterns of managerial decisions in various organizational contexts. The relevance of this topic stems from the fundamental contradiction between large-scale investments in the digital transformation of high-tech industries and the lack of scientifically sound management models that translate technological solutions into measurable improvements in project and operational activities. Results and discussion. Based on the analysis of cases of Russian and international aircraft manufacturing companies (the sample period 2022-2026), the study identifies and systematizes management solutions that support the transformation of project management, the formation of a unified digital cooperation space, the evolution of the digital twin as a management object, and the development of competency management systems. Four novel scientific propositions are specified. They develop the management theory in the areas of digital transformation management, project management, data management, and human resource management. Conclusion. Three key manageable parameters of digital transformation in the aircraft industry are identified, which can form the basis for the development of corporate and industry strategies.
