Abstract
In the conditions of digitalization, the theoretical and practical significance of the use of artificial intelligence in all sciences, including economic and financial, is increasing. The purpose of the study is to reveal the content of the concept of «artificial intelligence» taking into account the synergy of the basic sciences that characterize it. The study presents the two-part nature of the term «artificial intelligence», identifies the fundamental differences between its characteristics by Russian and foreign authors, identifies the logical relationship between the terms «human intelligence», «intellectual capital», «intellectual activity», identifies its mathematical, informational, economic components, closely interrelated, reveals its content in economics, systematizes and defines the relationship between different approaches to its definition. As a result, on the basis of systematization, comparison of technological, informational, software, technological, futuristic, economic.
