THE PROBLEM OF EVALUATING INFORMATION SYSTEMS EFFICIENCY
Abstract
The goal of the article is to conduct a comparative analysis of the key features of information systems used in the decision-making process in terms of their implementation effectiveness. Achieving the stated goal involves solving two problems, namely: to explore the theoretical foundations of the use of information technology in decision making; to identify the basic characteristics of the applied information systems in terms of the efectiveness of their implementation in the decision support system for various planning periods. Such an analysis will enable to optimize the choice of the appropriate service. The study showed that evaluating the effectiveness of an information system depends on its adequacy to a task solved.
