Preparation of future teachers for project activities of schoolchildren

Abstract

The article presents an analysis of theoretical studies, accumulated pedagogical experience on the problems of project activities of students in general education institutions and the preparation of future teachers for project activities of schoolchildren. Substantiates the role of teachers in ensuring the effectiveness of the project activities of schoolchildren, who should determine priorities, goals, topics, technology of project activities of schoolchildren and ensure its integration into the educational process. Emphasis is placed on the need for the formation of project competence among teachers as a result of training at a university. The principles of preparing future teachers for project activities are characterized (the principle of consistency, the principle of social partnership, the principle of integration, the principle of intersubjectivity), the features and stages of preparation (motivational, informational, activity, evaluation) are theoretically substantiated. The content of each stage is revealed as an integral system, including the formation of students' values for project activities, ideas about the project activities of schoolchildren, the ability to develop projects in practical and research work and to reflect on the formation of project competence.
