Abstract

The article defines intercultural communicative competence and describes its functions. It is proved that intercultural communication is able to establish relationships with representatives of other cultures. Discusses five basic principles (active mood, networking, social interaction, reflection, responsibility) that interpret language as a social practice. Deals with pedagogical keys (systemic correspondence of the components of competencies and their meaningful processes, the connection between the processes of formation of intercultural communicative competence, individualization), on the basis of which the formation of intercultural communicative competence takes place. It is concluded that it is necessary to stimulate the critical spirit of students, as well as the ability to distinguish between cultures and stimulate moral development. In conclusion, it is substantiated that the formation of intercultural communicative competence in the conditions of university education increases the general culture of a specialist, his competitiveness in the labor market. The effectiveness of the formation of intercultural communicative competence is assessed, prospects for research are outlined, a conclusion is made about the importance of understanding existing problems and developing an algorithm for solving them. The scientific novelty of the article lies in the fact that the author supplemented and concretized the concept of «intercultural communicative competence», defined criteria-evaluative characteristics and systematized the principles of formation of intercultural communicative competence
