Risk management in innovative design development

Abstract
The article deals with the issue of risk management in innovative project management. The purpose of the article is to identify the main components of the risk management system in innovative projects. In the process of studying educational and scientific literature, the structure of the risk management system was identified, the types of risks were identified, as well as methods of their reduction and elimination. In addition, methods of improving the risk management of innovative projects have been identified. The risk management system was analyzed based on the annual reports of an international chemical company. As a result, the main risk factors in the organization's innovative projects (vertical integration, potash projects) were identified, the main criteria for building an effective risk management system in innovative projects were identified, the role of human resources and risk management culture in improving risk management was noted.
