Assessment of the impact of sanctions on the foreign economic activity of the Russian Federation

Abstract
In connection with the significant increase in geopolitical tensions in the foreign policy of the Russian Federation, the problem of maintaining the economic security of the Russian Federation and the successful development of domestic and foreign markets is of particular relevance. In this regard, the problem of changing the principles of regulating Russia's foreign economic activity becomes even more significant. The article considers the problem of the development of foreign economic activity in the context of anti-Russian sanctions. It was noted that FED plays a significant role in the formation of the economy of any state, therefore, its regulation is considered one of the significant functions of legislative and executive bodies of state power. The impact of anti-Russian sanctions on foreign economic activity of both Russia and the world economy as a whole was assessed, the dynamics of foreign trade for 2017-2022 was considered. The states that imposed sanctions against Russia, their number and types were considered.
