Abstract
The article examines health and fitness as a means offormation of students ' knowledge of directions 49.03.01 - Physical culture in thefield of physical culture, identifies challenges and conditionsfor the improvement of teaching discipline «Health fitness» in the professional education of bachelors of physical culture. For this purpose, place health fitness in vocational training of bachelors ofphysical culture and reveals the effectiveness of teaching the discipline «Health fitness», and the problems identified in the process of its teaching.
