ON NECESSITY OF IMPROVEMENT OF CONTROL OVER FUNCTIONING OF PAYMENT SYSTEMS IN MODERN CONDITIONS
Abstract
The article discusses the problems associated with the functioning of payment systems at the present stage of their development, which, in the absence of effective control, leads to the creation offinancial pyramids and, ultimately, to causing significant damage to the population. The period of rapid development of new forms and instruments ofnon-cash settlements is analyzed, which leads not only to the growth of the volume ofpayment cards and electronic payments, but also to non-bank organizations. However, we take into account the fact that the volume of payments is growing at a significant rate under the conditions of the appearance of unchecked crypto-currencies. It is proposed to improve the control over the functioning of payment systems.
