MODELING OF URBAN TRANSPORT NETWORK

Abstract

The article discusses modeling of city traffic the environment simulation Anylogic. In the development of simulation models, categories of vehicles were specified, their parametrization was made, rules for the behavior of the driver were set, car flows were created, and so on. The simulation model is constructed using the discreteevent approach and the device of queuing networks and allows to evaluate the performance indicators and identify bottlenecks in the structure of the transport network element. Simulation results can be used for decision support systems to improve the effectiveness of city traffic.
