The author share their experience in drawing up various forms of test tasks for the qualifying round of the Olympiad in Biological Chemistry. The variants of tasks used during the Olympiad in the correspondence stage of the Olympiad are described. In the period from 2012 to 2021, about 1500 students from 58 Russian universities took part in the Olympiad among students of higher educational institutions of various fields.
