Abstract
Modern market conditions spur successful companies to be at the forefront of IT solutions, as this allows them to constantly enhance business processes. Therefore, advanced technologies are required to build strategic plans and up-to-date forecasts. The solution can be a new business intelligence system with an option to integrate with the existing ones, which leads to difficulties in collecting, analyzing, structuring and visualizing data. We have developed an algorithm for the implementation of a business intelligence system and for this purpose built models in the EPC AS-IS and TO-BE notation. Based on the data from these models and taking into account the uploading of sales data for the last 5 years, we have optimized the structure of the received data and their visualization: it is clear that they are dynamically changing, which will allow you to see the forecast in the mode of constantly changing data. Based on the method of analysis and forecasting of time series, we have identified metrics for forecasting. Using the DAX language, a short-term forecast was made. Presenting and predicting data will enable the decision maker to improve key business processes. The obtained results indicate that the impact of business intelligence with the ability to predict data on the performance of the organization is completely indirect and, therefore, the business value of business intelligence can be created through the use of common terminology and methodologies, as well as close interaction between experts, managers and a business analytics and data scientist team. The authors present a system of balanced performance indicators.
