Health walking in the system of physical education of university students engaged in a special medical group

Abstract

The article defines the scientific and theoretical foundations of the student’s physical education and the system of classes in a special medical group (SMG). The authors made an attempt to integrate into the educational process in physical education, students of a special medical group, the process of organizing recreational walking classes. In the course of the research, it was confirmed that the use of health-improving walking is a universal remedy, increasing the efficiency of the educational process, improving the methods of conducting classes and increasing aerobic exercises that contribute to the prevention of students’ diseases. The paper gives recommendations on the organization of recreational walking classes for students of a special medical group.
