DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL CAPITAL THEORY IN MODERN WESTERN SOCIOLOGY

Abstract

The article offers a view on the terms of SOCIAL CAPITAL that exists in the modern sociological knowledge. The ambivalence in analysis and interpretation of social capital as it is in the western sociology is related here to the binarity of the approaches used for studying that.
