Abstract
Some approaches to the formation ofprofessional competencies in the development of the master's program ((Industrial and Fire Safety» (training direction 20.04.01 Technosphere safety) are considered. The formulation of professional competencies provides for the mandatory consideration of the work functions presented in the professional standards and the necessary tasks of the activity. The analytical-synthetic approach to the formation of competencies allows you to decompose and synthesize the field of knowledge, set the boundaries of the system, analyze the influencing factors, and conduct their structural andfunctional analysis.
