В работе рассматривается потенциал инновационного развития Ставропольского края на основе анализа динамики инновационных предприятий, организаций, осуществляющих научную деятельность, численности персонала таких организаций, а также результатов социологического опроса населения. Изучение ситуации показывает, что регион имеет значительное превосходство в процессе внедрения инноваций и научных разработках по сравнению с соседними регионами, но его роль в общероссийском масштабе крайне незначительна. Определяется высокий потенциал и готовность населения к инновационной деятельности, блокируемой существующими социально-экономическими условиями и региональными традициями хозяйствования.
The potential of innovative development of the Stavropol Territory is considered on the basis of the analysis of the dynamics of innovative enterprises, organizations that carry out scientific activities, the number ofpersonnel of such organizations, as well as the results of a sociological survey of the population. The study of the situation shows that the region has a significant superiority in the process of introducing innovations and scientific developments in comparison with neighboring regions, but its role on the all-Russian scale is extremely insignificant. The high potential and readiness of the population for innovative activity, blocked by existing social and economic conditions and regional traditions of management is determined.
